This mixed border is getting into full swing now. It’s a very satifying perspective, standing in the middle of it all. I take photos to document and refer to later in the season or the next year, often featuring problem spots or plants. These pics are just a reminder of how beautiful everything is!

Flowers and seed heads photographed at Maggies Centre. They are small, very fluffy and delicate and grow in their natural habitat on very poor chalk meadows. Seeing hundreds of them on a sun-drenched slope in southern Germany is a very special experience I won’t forget in a hurry.
